Russian language for students and travellers in open groups
More and more international students show their interest in the Russian language, Russian culture and Russia itself. It’s commonly accepted that the best way to master a language and gain confidence and fluency is to take a language course in the country where this language is spoken.
Throughout the year IQ Consultancy offers Russian language courses in open groups for students and travellers from all over the world.
Students who come to study with IQ Consultancy are taught in small groups (3-5 students) which prove much more effective. Open group classes is not only an effective way to attain a certain level of language competence but also a great possibility to gain unforgettable experience of cross cultural communication.

*Our tuition fees are digressive. The longer course you take the less you pay for a week of studying.
** IQ Consultancy offers different options to study Russian in open groups in terms of intensity: a standard 20 hour a week course or an intensive 30 hour a week course. So, a student has 4-6 academic hours of General Russian daily (from Monday till Friday). Classes are usuaaly from 10 a.m. to 14-15 p.m.
***Students can come to St. Petersburg to study Russian for a short-term course ( two weeks minimum) or take an academic term or year course (more than 24 weeks).
****If students have some special requirements there is a possibility to opt for a combined course ( 20group classes of General Russian + 5-10 one-to-one tailor made classes). For one-to-one classes they can either choose any topic from the list of programs and short-term electives developed by IQ Consultancy or have them specially tailored.
Tuition fees include:
- 20-30 academic hours of General Russian;
- assessment tests before and after the course;
- teaching materials (a book and photocopiables);
- tea and snacks at IQ Consultancy;
- one 3 hour city-tour with a lisensed guide;
- help line.
Tuition fees do not include:
- an enrollment fee of 30 euro (non refundable);
- accommodation
- Visa support
- a cultural program
